Children’s University on Tour – a review

This year’s children’s university was not only a virtual experience: From July 27 to September 10, the children’s university also toured through Vienna, stopping for several days at public places and in community buildings. With lots of experiments and interesting facts about environmental protection, body, forces and water, curious children could expand their knowledge! In mid-September, the children’s university take place at several schools in Lower Austria. They experimented outdoors on questions such as “Where does the sugar disappear into the water?”, “How does a tornado develop?” or “How does a battery work?” and gave short interactive lectures on topics such as “Dry grassland as a habitat” or “On the tracks of the wildcat”. more…
