Doing World Heritage – Understanding World Heritage
Within the framework of Sparkling Science – the funding programme of the BMBWF (former BMWFW) for cooperation with schools, the Vienna University Children’s Office participated in the interdisciplinary project “Doing World Heritage – Understanding World Heritage” (duration 2014–2017) of the Natural History Museum Vienna.
In the course of this cooperation, teaching materials for the 5th–8th grade were developed. In addition, the Vienna University Children’s Office supported the conception of the touring exhibition “World Heritage among us – Stories of, with and about pile dwellings”.
