The Vienna University Children’s Office develops and designs a wide range of research and teaching materials. These innovative didactic materials combine a worth knowing and playful approach to complex topics.

The school section of the website https://kinderuni.online/ contains research packages on various topics, teaching materials for grades 2 to 8 and all editions of Kix! – Dein KinderuniXPress for download. Teachers also have the opportunity to create a group account, create individual research plans and take part in interactive WebLabs with their school class.
Teaching Materials on the Subject of Water and Waste Water
Didactic materials for the 5th to 8th grade on the subject of water and waste water. The project was commissioned by Wiener Wasser (MA 31) and Wien Kanal, ebswien hauptkläranlage Ges.m.b.H. and was developed by the Vienna University Children’s Office.
Research with the Hedgehog Spikey
Elementary school pupils (from the 2nd grade) can accompany the hedgehog Spikey through his annual cycle. They explore the world in which the hedgehog lives and learn interesting facts about the environment, nature and sustainability.
The research box “Nature Adventure with Spikey” was created as part of the Erasmus Plus project InEdu. Education experts from four partner countries participated in the development of the materials.
