From May 17 to 19, school classes are invited to be part of a great research journey for young, curious explorers! The Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW) is celebrating its 175th birthday!

Because this is a good reason to celebrate, they invite together with Vienna Children´s University school classes to get scientific answers to their questions in lectures, workshops and hands-on stations.
The program ranges from an exciting kick-off lecture on May 17 on “Planets and Extraterrestrial Life” to a colorful hands-on program for elementary school and workshops for Neue Mittelschule and AHS Unterstufe: The topics range from “Signs of Time in Ancient Egypt”, “Ancient Inscriptions”, “Fashion Consumption in Vienna” to an audiovisual journey into the diversity of language and music!

There are still a few places left for school classes, which means: choose a topic together with your teachers and register!
